Well if it was biological, wouldn't it be that God created something imperfect that goes against what He hates?

No, what I mean, is that if "God created them that way" or they were "made that way" or "born that way", God created something imperfect. Does that make sense? Yes, there's a sin factor, but we're born with the desire to sin, not to have specific sin struggles. (I mean that I wasn't born with the desire to steal, I learned it from somewhere...)

what do you mean by "good" people? |
|
I know people who are gay. People that are good people. The don't steal or kill or really lie. And they are friendly and living and caring. But they're gay. They like people of the same gender.

sorry but i don't get why you're specfiying that they're good people, do you think the majority of gay ppl are "bad" people All of my homosexual friends are "good" people, they're just like me, the only difference is (beside the christian thing in most of them) that they like the same gender.

Same here. We have a couple gays at our school, and one of the girls is a great friend of mine. The gay boy makes me feel uncomfortable, though. Once, when he found out that I used to be homeschooled he commanded (half playfully) to my friend, "Corrupt her." He is definitely very different from me.
If we ask why God would make someone biologically gay on purpose, we also have to ask, "why does he allow birth defects and mental disorders like autism?" I keep going in circles on this one...

the answer to that is easy though, God would never harm us, he allows things like that because we chose to let them into the world that's the only reason...

erm... I didn't choose to bring autism or AIDS or any other birth defect into this world.
Perhaps you mean that Satan brings these things into the world, and he does that because we choose sin over life in Christ?

Because of sin, we must have consequeces. AIDS and birth defects are consequences of our sins...that's how we brought them into this world, because of our sin we got the consequences.

| Oh, I don't mean that.
I mean that some people automatically think of gays as bad people. So, I'm saying that some can and are good. Just like everyone else; some people can and are good, but some are bad.

I read somewhere that homosexuality is a product of vanity: you begin to love yourself so much that you simply can't fall in love with someone of the opposite gender. How does that idea impress you all?
